Having Touch Screens instead of the keyboards will really help to optimize the system they are already working with. Any changes they may want to make with their register programming will now be much easier to implement and more simple to troubleshoot. We look forward to having their new equipment in place and ready to go.
Glen Canyon is looking at a big shift in their register equipment and we're excited to help them make the change. We've been working with Elouise Bedoni and Jim O'Sickey to upgrade their systems to EliXR's and it should help out a lot. We have been working with Bryce Canyon for years and we always love visiting them. This time we ran into a bit of a snowstorm on the way there which we weren't expecting, but managed to get through it in one piece. Once we arrived, we were able to answer some questions and make sure that everything was running smoothly. They know their registers and our Advantage software well, so it was no surprise to find everything was just fine. We also want to congratulate Kim Barton, who after years of doing incredible work as the Assistant Fee Manager, has been promoted to the top Fee Manager position. We're confident that she will excel in this new position and happy that we can continue working with her. To visit Bryce Canyon National Park's website, Click Here!
Whether you are leaving on your long awaited vacation and need someone to do your remits for you or you simply want another person to carry this burden with you, enabling an employee in Advantage to do remits is very simple. After you open Advantage, follow this path: 7-Administration Menu 3-Edit Passwords 2-Edit Employee Passwords This will bring you to a screen like this one which shows your employee list. Notice how the "E" column is only checked for Roger. This means that he is the only one who can perform remits. Our goal is to Enable Remits for Doug Funny as well. All you need to do is type a password for him in the "Reset Password To" column. It will only ask you for it once so make sure you get it right the first time and that you can remember it. After you fill in the password, a box will pop up that says "Employee Password Has Been Reset". Go ahead and click "Okay". You will notice that the "E" box still isn't checked. All you need to do is press the "Back Door" button and go back into the "Edit Employee Passwords" screen.
Now the "E" box is checked for Doug Funny and he is able to help you with your remits. If you ever get a chance to even drive through Zion National Park, we suggest you take it. While our purpose of coming here was of course business related, we couldn't help but enjoy driving through these towering rocks and desert landscapes. We met up with Alta Blietz and she helped us to understand a bit more about their fee program. We were able to discuss some options that we feel will help them move forward and continue to provide an excellent service to their visitors. We also met Evan Cram who is an excellent IT specialist who is going to help a lot with any changes we carry out in the park. Zion National Park has a wonderful staff to work with and we are excited to keep helping them with their Fee Program. To visit Zion National Park's website, Click Here!
