2021 Advantage Update Requirements For New Pass Updates

With the new pass formats coming in 2021, we have been doing extensive updates to registers across the country to ensure our scanners are working with your program. If your park still doesn't have a scanner, please call us and we will be happy to help you.

What you haven't noticed is a large project for Advantage that will soon be ready for launch. This will be required to support the new pass formats because the current version of Advantage is removing the letters to the new passes. This means that you will eventually see duplicate passes, hence the new version of Advantage with the Pass Conversion Utility will be required to support the new pass formats.

This was a large enough project that we needed to outsource the programing on the utility but there are some new updates that we hope will make your remittance process easier. Stay tuned for more updates or please reach out and we will be happy to update you over the phone.

New Park Passes

The new park passes are coming and if you are not aware yet, they will not have the magnetic stripe on them anymore.

What does this mean for you? It means there are two ways to enter a pass, manually, or scan the barcode with a scanner. We recommend doing the latter to mitigate data entry errors. 

The 4th grade passes are already shipping and we want to make sure every park is ready for this new format. We have 2D barcode readers that are compatible with your existing system. Fee Increase 2019

With January 1, 2019 right around the corner, we want to make sure those of you who have scheduled fee increases have a hiccup-free transition.

Our technicians have been hard at work to get these ready. Once they are done, we will get the file to you with instructions on how to upload it to the register either USB or Comm2000.

We have made a new video of how to do this as well as documents to show you the steps. Click on the links or head over to our new training section for more information.
