The new park passes are coming and if you are not aware yet, they will not have the magnetic stripe on them anymore.
What does this mean for you? It means there are two ways to enter a pass, manually, or scan the barcode with a scanner. We recommend doing the latter to mitigate data entry errors.
The 4th grade passes are already shipping and we want to make sure every park is ready for this new format. We have 2D barcode readers that are compatible with your existing system. With January 1, 2019 right around the corner, we want to make sure those of you who have scheduled fee increases have a hiccup-free transition.
Our technicians have been hard at work to get these ready. Once they are done, we will get the file to you with instructions on how to upload it to the register either USB or Comm2000.
