New Office!!!

9/14/2016

If there is one thing that will never change in our lives, it is that there will always be change. We have had some busy days lately preparing to move our operations to a new location and we are excited to finish up the transition. This is the most recent change we have made in our goal to continually improve our services for the National Park Service. Our new location will provide us with more space and functionality which means better service for all of you.

During the transition there may be a few delays. We are organizing ourselves so that our response times and services will not be seriously affected.

It may take a couple of week, but we are excited for this improvement!

Wish us luck!!

RSPA Convention 2016

8/10/2016

This past week we were able to attend the annual RSPA Convention near Dallas, TX. This is the biggest gathering of point of sale vendors in the country and was the perfect opportunity for us to see what developments have been made this past year. With the best interests of the National Park Service in mind, we spoke to dozens of vendors to find the best ideas out there for point of sale systems.

Over the three days that Darin, DJ and John were there, they were able to meet with a wide variety of equipment and software providers. They came back to our office with several new ideas that look very hopeful for improving our services to the national parks. We are now working on using the new knowledge and contacts we have  to further refine the Point of Sale solutions we provide.

They were also able to attend several seminars to learn how other companies are finding answers for the problems they encounter. The founder of Trader Joe's stores was especially inspiring about how to conduct business in a way that focused on employees in order to create the best experience for the client.

All in all, it was a great experience that will have very positive effects on our business. We hope to be rolling out some new updates and products to our National Parks so that they can benefit the most from our experience.

Installation at Pipe Springs National Monument

6/1/2016

We enjoy visiting and installing new equipment at all of the parks we service, but few of them have such rich history as Pipe Springs National Monument. With the presence of ancient Natives and new settlers, this site became a focal point for many events that changed the future of the West. We always love working at parks like this that have such great stories to tell.

Pipe Springs has taken a step forward with the installation of a new EliXR Duo Touchscreen register. The new equipment and program layout were put in place with the hopes of making the fee collection process more efficient and easier to learn. Another advantage is that if any future programming needs to occur, the layout and programming can be changed very quickly.

We worked with Paula, Katelyn and Sarah to make sure that the system would meet the needs of Pipe Springs. They were extremely helpful and a joy to work with. We are excited that Pipe Springs now has this updated technology installed and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.

In this post, we will be displaying some of our favorite pictures we have taken while working with some amazing National Parks.

Touchscreen Upgrade at Glen Canyon

3/30/2016

We do a lot of register installations at National Parks, but few of them have been as fun as working at Glen Canyon. We went with the purpose of upgrading their EliXR controllers from keyboard models to touchscreen models. These touchscreens have all of the capabilities of the EliXR Duo, so when we heard that Glen Canyon had the controllers, we seriously suggested that they use them to upgrade to touchscreens.
Our favorite part of the install was taking a plane up to the Bullfrog and Halls Crossing locations. One of our technicians described it as "riding a motorcycle in the sky". The views of Glen Canyon are great from the ground, but from above they are magnificent! It really is a beautiful park.

We really had a great time working with Elouise and Jason to install these new upgrades and we will continue to work with them to continually improve the Fee Program at Glen Canyon. We know that the park will enjoy using their new systems.
